At 9 AM, the gates of Dianne's Dahlias swing open, inviting you to a special, local escape where beauty blooms in every hue. Your exclusive ticket ($35 per person) grants you a self-guided tour through our breathtaking dahlia hoop houses- a mesmerizing landscape of blooms. As a cherished memento of your visit, you'll hand-select and create your own exquisite bouquet (*one bouquet per family/group order, with option to purchase more blooms on site*).
To sweeten your journey, complimentary artisanal coffee and delectable donuts will be awaiting your arrival, perfect for savoring amidst the fresh morning air on the farm. Families are warmly welcomed to share in the fun, with additional family members joining the tour for just $5 each. Each monthly session will feature a different STEM or Colorado History topic where we explore in the classroom, in the museum and throughout the historic Museum Campus.
We do require that a supervising adult be present, but you may work together with other Homeschool families to coordinate supervision. Students of outlying ages/abilities may receive other age-appropriate activities. For further inquires, please speak with our Education Coordinator at education@wmmi.org.

The Colorado Springs Oktoberfest has many different points of interest with the largest and most significant being a 6,000 sq ft pole tent that houses a stage, dance floor, and beer festival tables. Music is continuous and there is always the Oktoberfest vibe in the tent. We also have:
- Costume & Stein Hoisting Contests
- Two German Bands
- Authentic German Food Vendors
- Exclusive Wine Tasting
- Wiener Dog Races

On September 30th, we’re inviting you to gather at the farm for an unforgettable night of snacks, sips, and bouquet-building. We’re thrilled to partner with Sarah Gregor of The Flower Corner to bring you a one-of-a-kind bloom-to-table workshop.
Showed up for STEM event and left a fan. This museum is not like any other mining museum i had been to. I working blacksmith and stamp mill was a pleasant touch. Flourscent Blacklight Mineral room is also a winner. Its an affordable and educational experience that is worth the value.
